Suggestions for Play
Playing at Blue Fox Run is a wonderful golfing experience. To make your visit more enjoyable here are a few suggestions for play:
Proper flow of play is the most important factor to enjoy your round of golf.
- Arrive one half hour prior to your tee time to register.
- All players are requested to observe 'Open Hole Policy'. When an entire hole opens up in front of your group, increase the speed of play to 'close the gap'. If the group behind you is waiting please allow them to play through.
- Eliminate practice swings.
- Take direct route to your golf ball.
- Once struck, follow your golf ball until the ball comes to rest.
- Putt out on greens, avoid ball marking.
- Park carts or place golf bags on the side of the putting green that exits to the next tee.
- To avoid back-up on Par 3's encourage group behind to hit up.
- At Blue Fox Run we have a casual dress code but we prefer that tank tops, cut-offs and tattered jeans not be worn. Men are requested to wear a shirt with a collar.
Please Repair All Ball Marks
- When you reach the green, immediately fix your ball marks and line up your putts. More time is wasted here than anywhere else. Also, don't forget the ball mark made by the shot that hits the green and goes beyond.
- A fresh ball mark repaired by a player only takes 5 seconds.
- A freshly repaired ball mark will completely heal in 24 hours.
- A fresh ball mark left unrepaired for only 1 hour will take 15 days to heal.
- Keep carts away from greens, tees and tall grass areas (environmentally sensitive).
